Millennium 2000 Experience

GOAL's party to celebrate the New Millennium. Groups were invited from South Africa, UK, Singapore, India, Canada, Belgium, Slovenia, Holland, Malta, Jordan, Israel, Ireland and the Caribbean to celebrate the 2000.
Having gathered in Doncaster they moved to Borrowdale, Cumbria for a week of camping and outdoor activities – and the occasional party – to celebrate this international event as only young people can.
They went home happy, inspired and full of great memories and with friendships to last for their lives. Many groups are still interchanging and many relationships still simmering.
What an event – despite the English weather!
